People meet consciously and subconsciously in urban spaces, in town centres and city squares, in parks and gardens, in places with noisy traffic and places with peace, quiet and tranquility. They meet sometimes by chance, other times by agreement, around a table in the park, on a bench beneath an espalier, at a bus stop in the midst of the rush hour, or somewhere quiet, under subdued park lamp lighting. Illuminating moments occur perhaps, or maybe they just need light from several angles. People meet wherever there is room for opinions. And everywhere they meet, Veksø joins them!
People – and the spaces they occupy – are the everyday world that Veksø examines and reacts to when designing and manufacturing street furniture and fixtures for public spaces, private companies and public institutions.

Leading architects from around the world have helped Veksø design functional furniture and fixtures for urban spaces and anywhere else people walk and meet.
Including shelters for cars and people, covered bicycle racks, carports, supermarket trolley shelters, bus shelters ... anywhere people or objects are to be sheltered in an attractive, functional way. Veksø even shelters smokers. Not from persecution but from the wind and weather, giving them a roof over their heads. Veksø thus makes room for a policy of smoke-free indoor environments while providing space for those who still enjoy smoking.
Veksø manufactures functionally designed street furniture capable of withstanding constant use in public spaces or anywhere else where design and function give value to people and to the environments in which they live and work.
